	AAZV (American Association of Zoo Veterinarians) As an advocate for the profession, the mission of the Association is to improve the health care and promote conservation of captive and free-ranging wildlife.
	INTERNATIONAL SPECIES INFORMATION SYSTEM (ISIS) Since 1974 ISIS has provided world-standard software to more than 800 zoos, aquariums and related organizations in almost 80 countries. The ISIS global database for contains information on 2.4 million animals and is constantly growing.
	EAZWV (European Association of Zoo and Wildlife Veterinarians) An international non-profit organisation which promotes the advancement of veterinary knowledge and skill in the field of zoo and wild animals, improving the husbandry of zoo animals and the management of wild animals populations.
	AAV (Association of Avian Veterinarians) The Association of Avian Veterinarians is an international organization of practitioners advancing and promoting avian medicine, surgery, stewardship, and conservation through education of its members, the veterinary community and those they serve.
	EAZA (European Association of Zoos and Aquaria) An organization that promotes cooperation, furthering regional collection planning and wildlife conservation, through internationally coordinated breeding programmes of wild animals such as the European Endangered Species Programmes (EEP)
